This notice applies to students, parents or co-responsible persons, landlords, letting agents, payers, website visitors and people who contact us.
2. What information we may collect
- Identity and contact information: name, date of birth, address, email, telephone number, identification details and electronic-signature records.
- Education and immigration information: university, course, enrolment or offer status, study dates and relevant visa or eVisa status.
- Financial and relationship information: expected rent share, payment arrangements, income, banking, assets, liabilities, source of funds and the relationship between a student and parent or co-responsible person.
- Property and tenancy information: proposed address, landlord or agent details, rent, tenancy documents, ownership or authority information and rent records.
- Application and risk information: answers, documents, verification results, communications, manual review notes and fraud or sanctions risk markers.
- Technical information: IP address, device, browser, form status, cookies and access or security logs.
3. How and why we use information

We do not rely on one blanket consent for all processing. Necessary application processing may rely on contract-related steps, legal obligations or legitimate interests. Marketing consent is optional and must not affect an application.
Manual decision-making
Bridge may use calculations, checks and risk indicators to support review, but does not intend to make a final decision producing a significant effect solely by automated means.
Applicants under 18
Where an applicant is under 18, Bridge may require an appropriate parent or guardian route and additional safeguards. Information should be explained in clear language suitable for the applicant.
5. International transfers
Students, parents and service providers may be located outside the United Kingdom. Where information is transferred internationally, Bridge will identify the transfer route and use an applicable UK adequacy arrangement, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to approved contractual clauses, or another lawful safeguard where required.
6. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, legal or regulatory obligations, fraud prevention, complaints and legal claims.

Bridge uses access controls, encrypted transmission where appropriate, audit records and supplier management to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please use only the submission method requested by Bridge and do not send sensitive documents to a general mailbox without instruction.
8. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to receive certain information in a portable format. You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent; withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.
We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some rights are subject to legal limits and record-keeping obligations.
