Is the Initial Application free?
Yes. The Initial Application and manual initial screening are free. No payment or full document pack is required at this stage.
Does an indicative estimate mean I am approved?
No. It is an estimate based on the information entered. It is not an approval, final quotation, service agreement or guarantee.
Do I need to have found a property?
No. You may say that you have not yet found a property. Any proposed property must later pass a separate review.
What does a landlord or agent need to do?
They must provide identity or authority, ownership and tenancy information, accept the relevant written terms, and later verify the final Guarantee Certificate before relying on Bridge.
Does the guarantee cover the whole tenancy?
Not automatically. It is limited to the approved student’s fixed rent share, property, period and limits stated in the Certificate and Coverage Schedule.
